We will soon be announcing the eligible players for the upcoming WSOP Satellite, which is being played online at Ladbrokes Poker, the date of which is Saturday March 27 @ 19:30. This will be a freeroll tournament but ONLY open to eligible players.

To be eligible you will need to have finished 2nd-8th in the LPPL Area Finals for the Jun/Jul, Aug/Sept, Oct/Nov and/or Dec/Jan leagues OR you are a Venue Referrer.

A full list will be published shortly and players will be contacted to advise/remind them of the upcoming event.

The top 2 players in the satellite will win a trip to Las Vegas for the WSOP in June 2010 with the LPPL.

Players are reminded that this Saturday AND Sunday (March 20th and 21st) there will be an online tournament starting at 20:00 where the winner of the tournaments will progress through to join the 8 weekly winners of the Online League 8, in a private tournament for a trip to Las Vegas with the LPPL in June 2010.

The date of the Grand Final is Sunday March 28th.

The two satellites are both a $5 rebuy, both held on Ladbrokes poker, and all buy ins will go towards our Pub Poker 4 Charity fund. Tournaments will be open to all LPPL members and the password will be available on the players forum as usual.

LPPL would like to thank everyone who attended the weekend. The record of 503 players was broken with an attandance of 519. Sociable and enjoyable fun was the name of the game and a great time was had by all.

The eventual winner, Linda Franklin from N.West league played excellent and can now claim to be the 'champ' for the next year.

In addition, we raised a great stash for charity and we have donated £600 to Rachael for the World Challenge and we still have £637 in the charity pot for Louth Hospice.

Ladbrokes were present and LPPL hope that most of you took the opportunity to speak with or play against John Skally kalamar.

Once again, thank you - you really do make LPPL "the peoples league".

Just for a bit of fun, we'll be holding a low stake rebuy tournament on Ladbrokes poker on Sunday evening at 20:30 (half an hour after the Mini League game has started), which will just be a $2 No Limit Holdem tourney - unlimited rebuys plus an add on available.

As always the tournament will be password protected (please see forum for password) and all cash will be paid out on the night.

This is just another tournament to celebrate the Nationals weekend for those players home early enough after elimination or unfortunate not to have made it.

This weeks Poker Cruise Feeder event, played online at Ladbrokes Poker, is a celebration of the LPPL Nationals which will be running as this satellite is played - and is a REAL chance for non-qualified players to gain their seat in the Poker Cruise Grand Final

Remember, every week (either a Friday, Saturday or Sunday) we will be running a special online feeder/satellite to the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise Grand Final tournament, where you can win your seat into the tournament that will determine which lucky LPPL player(s) will be cruising around the Carribean in January 2011 on the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise, winning a package that has a £4,000 value.

This Saturday's game is a classic deepstack No Limit Holdem event for just a $10 + $1 buy in - and there will be a seat to the Grand Final on offer for every 4 players that register, with any surplus cash being paid out entirely to the next non-seat winning player.
