The November 2011 Online Mini League will start on November 1st on William Hill Poker.

You can find the games by logging on to William Hill Poker, clicking the "William Hill Exclusive" section and scrolling down until you find the "LPPL Mini League" 1, 2 and 3 - 1 being the 17:30 game, 2 the 20:00 and 3 the 23:00 games.

Games will be played at 17:30, 20:00 and 23:00 EVERY DAY, and are just $3 + .30 to enter.

To take into account the longer blind structure on William Hill, the level lengths will be 10 minutes long as opposed to 12 minutes.

As always, all buy-ins will be retained to create the overall cash pot that accumulates to pay prizes in "bands" that, depending on how much as a total is generated, could see you play for packages to the superb International Poker Open, held in Dublin, Ireland in 2012 AND, potentially, a Cash Pot AND the $100 Consolation Final Freeroll for players who dont make the Final Table.

In all cases, the exact amount of Cash Payouts and overall Prize Structure will be confirmed and announced once the final totals are known.

The IPO Package details are yet to be finalised but will include direct return flights to Dublin, shared twin room accomodation and Main Event entrance/buy-in to IPO.

The 2011 event had over 1300 runners, with many famous poker professionals in the field, including Andy Black, Padraig Parkinson, Neil Channing and Jesse May, with the Final Table coming back for a "November 9" live televised final, where the winner can expect to receive over €50,000. These trips are legendary with LPPL....you've seen the pics and heard the stories....dont miss out on YOUR chance to be part of the next one!

FINAL TABLE QUALIFICATION - FINALS NIGHT

Finals Night will be Saturday December 3rd, with the PlayOff for the FT being held before the Final Table and Consolation Final - which are played later that evening.

The Top 9 players on the Leaderboard will qualify automatically for the Grand Final, which will be played at 22:30 on William Hill Poker on December 3rd, 2011.

All other players who achieve a total points score that is equal to the 9th placed player's score, minus 20%, will go forward into a Grand Final Playoff, which will be played at 19:00 on William Hill Poker on December 3rd, 2011. The winner of this Playoff will take their seat at the Grand Final later that night making a total of 10 finalists.

All players who, ultimately, miss out on the Grand Final, but have played a minimum of 10 games, will be entered into the $100 Consolation Freeroll, which will be played at 22:30 on December 3rd, 2011.

LEADERBOARD

ALL players will be represented on the Mini League Leaderboard by their real name - NOT your online alias. You MUST ensure that the LPPL are aware of what your online alias is, within 7 days of playing your first Online Mini League game, to ensure the correct allocation of points per game can be made. If we cannot identify you, you will not be awarded your points and you run the risk of losing them.

A player's top 10 scores will count towards their Leaderboard total score, and there will be a prize for the overall Leaderboard winner - this being entry into our online Champion of Champions tournament.

These games are fast, fun and furious and open to all our members.

Games are played in great spirit and the banter element is very high, with a great standard of play also - see you at the tables!

In the past, LPPL have rewarded those players who introduce new venues to LPPL with £50. However, we have now 'upped' the ante!

Find us a venue who wants to join LPPL, send us the details of the landlord/landlady, preferred night etc. We will call them, and if they stay with us for 3 months, YOU will qualify for an exclusive tournament where the winner will win a trip to Las Vegas during the WSOP 2012

This tournament, as before, will be open to "Venue Recruiters" and other eligible LPPL promotion winners who will be identified and confirmed as such - but its a great way to get to the Poker Capital of the World and rub shoulders with the stars....AND contribute to the size and success of your own LPPL league!!!!!!

'FALSE' REGISTRATIONS

Many players have attempted to get into this event by registering via the Tier 1 facility on the shop when ineligible - these orders have been cancelled and these players are advised NOT TO TURN UP on the day as they will be refused access to the tournament - no exceptions. The qualification criteria and how to register has been displayed prominently for almost two months now - we will not waver should a player turn up on the day, claiming to have registered - we will have a full list of those that have registered and those that are eligible - if you are not on there, you will be denied access - no matter what distance you have travelled.

'ON THE DAY' REGISTRATIONS

Players who have not registered via the Shop but still wish to participate now only have the option of buying in directly at Aspers Casino on Saturday, during the registration period of 12:00 - 13:30.

To do this you MUST :

1) Be an eligible player (we will have the lists!)

2) Buy in at Tier 3 level - which will be £33 (securing you a 15k starting stack).

This is IRRELEVANT of what Tier you have qualified in at - you can only buy in at Tier 3 level on the day and, if you are a Tier 1 player, you have lost your LPPL buy in element also.

Plus Any Other Eligible Players

All players for MicroLeague 5 will soon have access to the tournament specific thread, which is restricted purely for eligible players - this can be found by logging into the Player Portal (forum), going to the LPPL ONLINE section and entering the MicroLeague 5 category - for which there will be several sub sections listed, all giving details and information about MicroLeague 5. A separate annoucement will be made when this is live.

An email will also be sent around to all eligible players advising them of this restricted forum thread, for whom we hold a live and valid email address.

There will be a "public" list of eligible players who will be taking part in MicroLeague4 soon available on the forum

The tournament format is :

A game will be played every Sunday morning starting at 9:30am where the weekly winner will progress through to the end of tournament Grand Final, where all 8 weekly winners will meet up in 10 player Sit n Go tournament (along with 2 satellite winners), with the prize on offer to the winning player of the Grand Final a 2012 Las Vegas package with LPPL - exact details are yet to be confirmed, but flights shared accomodation, access to the WSOP freeroll and hotel/airport transfers will all be included as a minimum.

MicroLeague 5 will NOT be a freeroll - there will be a weekly buy in of $3 + .30 but all buyins will be paid out on a weekly basis to the top percentage of players - so there will be cash to play for as well as the Grand Final place EVERY week.

The first game of the MicroLeague will be played on Sunday August 21 and every Sunday thereafter - 8 weeks in total. All games - including satellites and the Grand Final, will be held on William Hill Online Poker.

After a reasonably successful trial of Omaha throughout June and July, LPPL now invite ALL leagues to take part in this tremendous 4 card variant of poker and hold games at your venues.

Venues are invited to hold an Omaha night, either in addition to or in replacement of their existing LPPL "regular" game night and must do so by contacting the LPPL and requesting the change(s) - this so we can show which venues will be holding Omaha nights on the "Venues and Schedules" list, which will have the games listed as "Omaha" accordingly.

A "guide" to Omaha has been produced (please see the PDF attached below) to give venue TD's some instruction on how to run these nights (to be used in conjunction with the default LPPL House Rules), and also some insight into the game for players who would like to learn the game, or become more adept at it.

Please note, at least for the time being, that all LPPL Omaha games will be of the "No Limit" variety - we appreciate that "Pot Limit" is considered standard and preferable to No Limit - but until our players become more conversant with this "new" variety of poker, and we develop a core of established and trained TDs and Dealers who can properly calculate "pot" bets/raises, the game will remain No Limit.

Qualification for the Poker.co.uk Players Challenge 2011, taking place at Aspers, Newcastle on 3rd September 2011, is now complete - all LPPL Area Finals contributing to the qualification period (Dec/Jan, Feb/Mar and Apr/May) have been played with results verified and Area Leaderboards updated.

NOTE - ONLY Qualifiers, who have finished in either Tier 1, 2 or 3 of their Area Leaderboard or won Qualification from the Festival of Poker 2011, are eligible to play this event. ALL others are categorically NOT eligible and will NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES be allowed to play - this includes entry on the day.

Under no circumstances are 'qualification places' transferrable.

SO - IF YOU HAVEN'T QUALIFIED - YOU'RE NOT PLAYING.

To remind players - there are three qualification/buy-in starting stack levels for those who register/buy in online via the LPPL online shop before 31 Aug 11:

£10+£1 = 5,000 starting stack (minimum buy-in for Tier 1 and FOP Qualifiers)
£20+£1 = 10,000 starting stack (minimum buy-in for Tier 2 Qualifiers)
£30+£1 = 15,000 starting stack (minimum buy-in for Tier 3 Qualifiers)

REGISTRATION IN ADVANCE IS VIA THE LPPL ONLINE SHOP, OR BY CONTACTING 'KIM' ON HER MOBILE 07983 393 288 and making payment by Reward Points or Credit/Debit card over the phone.

Qualifiers MUST register via their appropriate 'Tier' option in the LPPL Online Shop before 31 August 2011 to secure/guarantee their place - failure to do so means that if maximum attendance is reached PRIOR TO the event then they will not be eligible/able to play - even if they turn up to Aspers on the day.

SO ALL QUALIFIERS ARE MOST STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER BY 31 AUGUST 2011 TO GUARANTEE THEIR SEAT - OR POTENTIALLY LOSE IT.

INITIAL REGISTRATION/BUY IN

TIER 1 AND FESTIVAL OF POKER QUALIFIERS must register as a 'Tier 1 Qualifier' via the LPPL Online Shop before 31 Aug 11 - however they can 'top-up' to any of the larger starting stack levels as they wish before play commences on the day by paying cash (£10 for another 5k starting stack, or £20 for another 10k starting stack) when they re-register in Aspers on the day at the Tier 1/FOP Qualifying registration point.

A full list of 'Tier 1 and Festival of Poker (FOP)' Qualifiers is displayed on the Latest News (separate to this News item) and via the Player Portal (Forum).

To register as a Tier 1 or FOP Qualifier, these Qualifiers need to visit the LPPL Online Shop and 'buy' the 'Poker.co.uk Players Challenge TIER 1' product. This has a £0+£0 'price' attached to it - but LPPL gets a record of your registration and will pay your initial buy-in of £10+£1 accordingly.

These players are entltled to have their INITIAL £10+£1 entrance fee paid for by LPPL - however, this will be done ONLY for those Tier 1 and FOP Qualifiers who register via the LPPL Website/Shop by 31 Aug 11.

Those Tier 1 and FOP players who DO NOT meet this deadline will still be eligible to play, however, they will only be able to register on the day and must buy-in for the full cost 15k starting stack (so they will have to pay £30+£3 cash on the day - Reward Points cannot be used).

BUY-IN PAYMENT METHODS

TIER 2 and TIER 3 players can pay their initial buy-ins via the following methods:

REWARD POINTS - please note that you can only register YOURSELF using Reward Points and there will be NO transfer of Reward Points allowed - nor will you be able to buy other players in via your Reward Points balance. It is purely 1 transaction per player.

DEBIT/CREDIT CARD - there will be a facility via the shop for players to pay their buy-ins via your own Debit/Credit card (unfortunately we cannot accept American Express cards). This facility will be implemented ASAP.

REGISTRATION CHECKS

All buy-ins that are recorded through the Online Shop will be verified for accuracy - meaning we will ensure that the right players have entered themselves into the right Tiers.

Any player who 'bought in' to the event via the online shop before Leaderboards were finalised has had their entries cancelled and a refund of Reward Points has been made. If actually eligible, these Qualifiers will need to buy-in 'again' before 31 August.

Any ineligible player attempting to register for the event will have their transaction immediately cancelled but may run the risk of losing the Reward Points/cash used due to their attempt to try and falsely gain entry into the event.

REGISTRATION / RE-REGISTRATION 'ON THE DAY'

Registration will be from 12:00 noon to 13:30 on the day (Sat 3 Sep 11).

The event will start at 14:00 and all players must be seated 5 minutes prior to start. Any player not seated at 'shuffle up and deal' will have their chips removed from the table and their entry to the event cancelled immediately - and they will not be re-instated.

Players MUST register themselves on arrival at Aspers (even if they have registered via the online shop) - and, as above, pay for any top-up of starting stacks they wish to have.

All players will be seated with the minimum 5k starting stacks - once play is about to start - top-up 'tokens' (WHICH WILL BE GIVEN OUT WHEN PLAYERS REGISTER/RE-REGISTER IN ASPERS ON THE DAY AND PAY TO TOP UP IN CASH) will be redeemed for the extra chips. This will be done, as with the Festival of Poker National Championships, by the TD Team visiting each table and doing the exchanges.

Play will then get underway.

Rebuys, which will be unlimited and available for play up to the first break, will be £10 for an extra 5k chips. A player can rebuy once his stack is at 5k or below. Players will be able to rebuy from the TD Team directly 'on the floor'.

TOURNAMENT PAYOUT STRUCTURE

The Prize Find for the Poker.co.uk Players Challenge is £5,000 GUARANTEED, and based on 100 runners the payout will be as follows :

Winner : £2000
2nd : £1000
3rd : £600
4th : £400
5th : £250
6th : £200
7th : £175
8th : £150
9th : £125
10th : £100

Although we expect the buy-ins to be less than £5,000, the above prizefund of £5,000 is guaranteed. Any monies raised above £5,000 will be attributed to the Pub Poker 4 Chairty fund and distributed to local charities throughout the UK.
